![]() the development team worked to get a proper console port out ratehr than just plop the pc verison on console. a good example of a game like this is serious sam 3. im sure they do this to save money and maybe to get the game out faster but i would find a pc port to be a bit better. i really am a little jadded by the fact that game devlopers go the easy route and not make a proper pc port. What I did was set my windows resolution to 1080p so that the window now takes up the whole screen when it opens. Yeah the only way I could play in 60fps was in windowed mode (1080p max). im only telling you what could be some possible fixes but i can garuntee that your 4K monitor might be the issue (which sucks) i hate to say this but you might have to do one of two things 1. the game might be doing 30fps becasue the game doesnt monitor refresh rates at all nor does it let you unlock FPS. Aspect ratio overrides arent supported yet.Open the patcher and select your executable location. posted by SHMIZZLE:I have a 4k monitor so if I play in windowed mode at the max 1080p setting the window will only take up 1/4 of my screen The image will not upscale to fit the whole screen. This tool will override the 800圆00 resolution of 'Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance' with any custom resolution you want. Want to play Metal Gear Solid V at above 60FPS? Look at our MGSV Framerate Unlocking Guide. Please let us know on the OC3D Forums how this fix works for you and join the discussion on our Metal Gear Solid V Framerate Unlock on the OC3D Forums. That resolution will be your custom resolution from now further. "framerate_control" : "Auto", Change to "framerate_control" : "Variable",Īfter you make this small edit your framerate will be unlimited, allowing you to see this game in 61+ Hz/FPS. Like says in the tool, once you are in the game you have to change your game resolution in the options to 800600. I personally use NotePad.įind the line which says "framerate_control" : "Auto", and change it to "framerate_control" : "Variable", and then save the file. When inside this folder and open the "TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG" file in your favourate text editor. To enable this fix you will first need to navigate to your Steam Configuration file folder, which will be in the following location. Now we have found a way to remove this game's framerate limit and thankfully this fix does not seem to have any impact on he game's Physics or create any other bugs in-game. The largest issue with the PC version of the game was that it's framerate was locked to 60FPS, meaning that users of high refresh rate displays could not use their hardware to it's full potential, which is a real shame given how well this game runs. It performed very well on a wide range of hardware and was even able to be played maxed out at 4K with single GPU configurations, which is pretty rare these days. Metal Gear Solid V has been one of our favorite PC ports of 2015, setting a very high standard which other developers should follow.
